The short version
We use a small number of cookies. Necessary cookies keep the site working and remember your choices. Anonymous statistics cookies (Google Analytics and WordPress Stats) are on by default so we can see which pages and guides help visitors, and you can switch them off with one click. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not sell or share your data, and nothing on this site tracks you across other websites.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember your preferences, and collect information about how the site is used. Similar technologies such as tracking pixels and web storage work in much the same way, and this policy covers them too.
Your choices
When you first visit, a short notice explains our cookies and gives you three options: OK keeps the defaults (statistics on), Turn off statistics switches statistics off straight away, and Cookie settings opens a panel where you can see each type and choose for yourself. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. Switching statistics off stops the statistics tools loading on your next page and removes their cookies from your device.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as a request to switch statistics off, and the notice tells you so. You can still turn statistics on in Cookie settings if you want to.
Why we do not ask for consent for statistics
UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 with effect from 5 February 2026) allows a website to use cookies for statistical purposes without prior consent, provided that the sole purpose is to collect statistics with a view to improving the service, the information is not shared with anyone except a provider working on the website owner’s behalf, visitors are given clear and comprehensive information, and there is a simple, free way to object at any time. We meet each of these conditions: our analytics are used only to understand which pages and guides help visitors; Google (for Google Analytics) and Automattic (for WordPress Stats) process the data on our behalf under their data processing terms, with Google’s advertising features and data sharing switched off; this policy and the notice explain what we do; and a single click turns statistics off. Any cookies that do need consent, such as marketing cookies, stay off unless you turn them on, and we currently use none.

Our Book a call page embeds the Zoom Scheduler booking calendar (scheduler.zoom.us). Zoom sets its own cookies inside that calendar under Zoom’s own cookie policy; they are needed for the booking to work and are not set on any other page of this site. Some links also take you to third-party services, such as Google for reading or leaving reviews; those sites set their own cookies under their own policies once you are there.
